Six Degrees

Rumors: They can start and end just about anywhere. Rumors can be vicious, as many of us know, but sometimes they are simply entertaining. Unfortunately, some people get tangled in the rumors and end up getting in trouble, whether it be with a friend, or with authority. Rumors are mostly nasty, and while I was at school, I was thinking about how rumors spread.
First, a person tells another party the truth (or perhaps not, depending on the person) and asks the party to keep this information confidential. The other party swears they won't tell anyone else. Then they break their promise and tell another person what they remember hearing. The key word: remember. This is how things get distorted. People tell what they remember, but the more people the information goes through, the more blurry the actual saying gets, and it can get pretty outrageous.
Then I was thinking about how people that don't even talk to each other know things about each other that they would never share. This happens because they may have a common friend...or they may have a friend who has a friend who has a friend who is friends with the person that they aren't friends with. Crazy, right? I don't even know if I'm making sense anymore. I try.
Moral of the story: If you don't want something personal spread around and known by everyone and their cousin, make sure that the people you tell are true friends and won't
spread it around. It can be hard to straighten out.
"That is how I strategize, so hold your breath for this surprise."

Practice Makes Perfect
Existence is a remarkable thing to think of. Everyone wants to know how they came to exist. They may get the simple scientific explanation, but on a spiritual level, it is so much more.
Did God create us? Do you even believe in God? What if I have been following the wrong religion for my entire life and I am condemned to something unknown. Does hell exist? Does heaven exist? What is existence? I don't know. Do you?
To live is a whole other story, though. Living is so much more than existing. To exist means, in my mind, to simply be, nothing more. To live is to go out everyday and be able to look at the day's events and realize that you have accomplished something. It may not be something of substantial importance to anyone but you, but it is still something. To live is to know that you are doing something. You are not idle, nor ignorant. Living is embracing your existence and making it mean something. Some people waste their life by simply existing and doing nothing.
I will not be like them. Will you?

All These Consequences Keep Running Around Your Head

Okay, so this week has been one of the most ridiculous and stressful weeks ever. I honestly can't say I enjoy being in the presence of many people at the moment. I feel like I keep getting annoyed by the same things over and over again. I will tell someone that something upsets me like....i don't know, clowns. [This is a hypothetical example.] Then, that stupid person will talk about clowns all the time and dress up like one too. It is just annoying when people use your emotions against you.
So, things that are going on in my life:
- I am working really hard on keeping up my grades. I am doing well, but I always push myself harder than needed. I can't help my messed up mentality.
- Drama between friends and such.
- My brother's messed up house. So, my brother, Colin, moved into a new house with his mom and a whole bunch of other people. His mom cheated on his step-dad and it was pretty tramatic for him. Anyway, his mom moved him and his other half-sister in with her boyfriend. Not only is that uncomfortable, but he also has to live with the boyfriend's four children. The youngest is a six year old boy, then there is an assortment 9 year-old, 11 year-old, and 15 year-old girls. It is weird that he is living with another girl that is my age, but what is worse is that the 15 year-old goes to the same school as him. Awkward much? So, I was talking to his mom and she acts like it is the freaking Brady Bunch. I talked to my brother later, and he said that he hates living with all of these people, and if he would have known, he would have moved in with me. I told him that he should, so we'll see. My dad is going to talk to him. I would love having our family completed finally. It is so broken, that I get depressed over it sometimes. My brother is one of my best friends. We don't act like siblings in all reality.
- I dyed my hair purple again. Hopefully it won't fade out.
Anyway, I just had to throw some of this stuff out there.

Following Through.

Today, I am thoroughly annoyed.
Lately, nobody follows through on their word.
Do not say something that you don't mean.
Not only will it get you in trouble, it may hurt you or another person.
Just keep your mouth shut if you don't mean it.
Honestly, it is really disappointing when you are let down, so don't do it to others.
It makes me sad when my friends do it.
Their are certain instances when I do it, but I know what the repercussions will be beforehand.
I try to make every word out of my mouth sincere [except when I am joking around.]
It is not cool to be a fair-weather friend.

scruffy dinosaurinos.

Okay, so right now I am in world history and I have finished everything, so it is cool.
Annnd. Today is okay.
=]
Katelin says that I am going to jump off of her roof this winter into a giant snowman.
[she is going to record it]
I'm not really sure if I want to jump off of her roof into a giant snowman because it is very likely that I would miss the giant snowman....and die.
DUN DUN DUNNN!
So, I have to finish developing my prints in photography which are due today, and I don't think that I will be done on time.

So right now, I really want to watch Queen of the Damned.
BTW, Lestat is the smexiest vampire to ever exist!
Yeah, Stewart Townsend is amazing in that movie.
It is too bad that Aaliyah died shortly after it.
The music is so AWESOME.
Adam is crazy!
"she's got the kind of look that defies gravity"
